Lots of folks refer to Wisconsinites as "Cheeseheads"....especially those envious folks in Illinois who only wish they were from Wisconsin. In St. Francis, there is a creative company born out of this nickname called Foamation Inc.
In 1987 this idea was born from the creative mind of Foamation's "Father of Fromage", Ralph Bruno. The birth of the world famous Cheesehead® hat was not initially about fashion, but a gouda, self-deprecating response to those we kindly call the "flat-landers". ...Illinois residents. Riding high from their only Super Bowl victory, fans of Chicago sports began ridiculing citizens of the Dairy State by calling them "Cheeseheads". They probably didn't predict the amount of pride and success that would follow.
Cheesehead® products have now sold in all 50 states and over 30 nations around the globe. The variety of people enjoying the products is simply stunning. Some are transplanted Wisconsinites, some dedicated Green Bay Packer fans, and some - simply like cheese. The Cheeseheads are a diverse bunch - all bound together by 1 thing: the CHEESE! Visit their website: www.Cheesehead.com and enjoy the variety of products you can now see worldwide !
