Just as illness of every type is not Luxury homeconfined to any one person....neither are the situations that can result in a short sale of homes that the market classifies as Luxury Homes.
In Southeastern Wisconsin, where housing is generally less expensive than on either coast, Luxury Homes are defined as those with a price of $500,000 or more.
There are reasons why luxury homeowners can find themselves with delinquent mortgage payments. Serious illness can be a reason.
